2021 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro

I absolutely love the Toyota Sequoia! It’s incredibly spacious, comfortably accommodating up to seven adults with room to spare. And if you’ve got a car full of rowdy teens, this SUV is an absolute lifesaver. With ample cargo space, you’ll have no problem packing in all your gear for a weekend camping trip or a family road trip. Take it from me, this is one car that’s definitely worth checking out.

Honda Pilot2019 Honda Pilot Elite

A Honda Pilot is seriously amazing! Firstly, let’s talk about the comfort level, which is off the charts. The seats are so comfortable and they reconfigure easily, leaving you with ample space for whoever or whatever you want to bring along on your adventure.

But it’s not just the comfort that this baby has to offer, it’s packed to the brim with features too. You’ll get a kick out of the hands-free tailgate – which is a lifesaver when your hands are full.

And let’s not forget about the tech – it’s got it all. With a touchscreen that’s compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you’ll have everything you need right at your fingertips.

Now, let’s talk about the gutsy powerhouse that is the Pilot’s 3.5-liter, 280-horsepower V6 engine. It’s paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, and the option to have all-wheel-drive. And the best part? Honda Sensing safety and driver-assistance features come standard on all trim levels, meaning a collision mitigation system with forward-collision warning, road departure mitigation, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control are all included. Trust me, this car is a game-changer.

Volvo XC 90Volvo XC90

The SUV that immediately caught my attention is the one I tested out at the Texas Truck Rodeo. It certainly lived up to my expectations as it is a luxurious 7-seater SUV with the added benefits of all-wheel drive and a hybrid powertrain. Undoubtedly, the most impressive feature of this vehicle is the comfortable and supportive seating. It feels like the seats were designed just for me!

Sadly, you may have to opt for a used version, as the starting price for this SUV is $64,750 MSRP. But honestly, with the impressive features it has to offer, you would get the feeling that it’s worth every penny spent.

The Volkswagen Atlas SUV holds a special place in their heart – it’s one of their top picks. And for good reason! The third-row space is impressively spacious; they once even found themselves comfortably sitting as an adult back there during a press trip. Plus, the base-price range of $32,575-$48,245, 3.6L V-6 (276 hp, 266 lb-ft) engine, max towing capacity of 5,000 pounds, and solid fuel economy (16 city/23 hwy/21 combined) make it one of the most compelling options out there.

Kia Sorento

The Kia Sorrento comes well laid out and at a slightly more affordable price point than some of its competitors. Riding in one for a week some years ago was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, with praises for its exceptional comfort and being well-equipped, especially in higher trims. The 2019 model, pictured here, is many people’s favorite, despite newer designs having more popularity. Although the base models start at $29,390, they are too rudimentary for most needs, with at least one trim upgrade being a must. The versatility, comfort, and affordability of this vehicle make it an enticing choice for many.
